24 Hour Salad

Beat egg yolks slightly and then add milk. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Dissolve gelatin in a small amount of water and add to the thick mixture. Cool and add whipping cream. Mix together fruit, nuts and marshmallows in other bowl and then pour creamy mixture over fruit/nut mixture. Chill for 24 hours. Serve on lettuce as a salad or by itself as a dessert.
