Almond Sugar Sticks

Cream the sugar, butter and orange zest. Add the flour, almonds and extract. Roll the dough into a ball then wrap in foil or wax paper. Refrigerate over night. Take out the dough and knead to warm up. Roll into a 1-inch finger-thick strips. Bake at 300° for 20 to 30 minutes. After cooled, roll in powdered sugar.
