Angel Parfait

Ingredients:

• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup water
• 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
• 1 pint heavy cream, whipped
• 2 teaspoon vanilla
• whipped cream
• chopped nuts

Instructions:

Boil the sugar and water until the syrup spins a thread, roughly 5 minutes. Beating constantly, pour slowly onto the 3 egg whites. Beat until cool, then fold in the heavy cream and vanilla. Spoon into a refrigerator tray. Serve in a dessert glass and garnish with chopped nuts.
