Drain fish "liquid" and reserve - add enough water to make 1 cup. Combine all other ingredients. Grease load pan and pat in ingredients. Bake in an 8x8-inch square pan at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
If you want more color, add a little chopped pimiento.
Serve with a cheese sauce with a good portion of lemon juice added. Cheese soup works well.
