Cook the pasta according to the package directions until tender but still firm, then drain off the water. Place the pasta in a colander and rinse with cold water, then drain. In a large salad bowl, combine the pasta, broccoli, chicken, celery, apricots, almonds and green onions.
Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, sherry, lemon peel, lemon juice, mustard, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper to create the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss before serving.
