Banana Nut Muffins

In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, walnuts, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Add the banana and toss to coat. In a small bowl, beat the eggs with a fork, then beat in the milk and butter. Add to the flour mixture and stir just until blended. Fill the greased pans 2/3rds full and sprinkle the tops with wheat germ. Bake in a preheated oven at 400° until they test done in the center, 20 to 35 minutes.
