Rub the inside of a fondue pot or chafing dish with the cut sides of garlic. Place the pot on the rangetop. Add the wine to the pot or chafing dish and cook over medium heat until the wine is hot, but not boiling. Add the lemon juice, then toss together the cheeses and the flour until combined. Gradually add the cheeses to the wine mixture, stirring constantly until the cheeses are melted and the mixture resembles a creamy sauce. Season with some pepper and some ground nutmeg. Bring the mixture to boiling and remove from the heat. Place the pot or chafing dish filled with cheese over a lighted burner at the table. Serve with chunks of bread.
