Chocolate Icebox Cake

Put the gelatin in the cold water. Melt the chocolate over the hot water, then stir in the soaked gelatin. Separate the 3 eggs and beat the whites until stiff. Beat in the sugar, a tablespoon at a time. Without washing the beater, beat the yolks until thick then add to the chocolate mixture. Pour over the whites and fold together lightly until well blended. Add the cubes of cake and mix gently until well blended. Spoon into a mold and chill, then turn out onto a serving dish and cover with whipped cream.
