First Layer

Cream the sugar and butter. Beat the egg yolks then mix into the creamed mixture. Add the vanilla and nuts, then fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.

Top Layer

Combine the cocoa and sugar. Add the water, egg yolks and fold into stiffly beaten egg whites.

Cover the bottom of the pan with wafer crumbles. Pour in the first layer, then cover with another layer of wafer crumbles. Pour in the top layer, then cover with more wafer crumbles. let set in the refrigerator for 2 1/2 horus. Serve with whipped cream.
