Cream Cheese Cake or Pie

Crust

Ingredients:

• 18 pieces zwieback, rolled into crumbs
• 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions:

Combine the ingredients, reserving 2 tablespoons for topping. Press firmly against the sides and bottom of a 9-inch cake or pie pan.

Filling

Ingredients:

• 2 (8oz ea) packages cream cheese
• 3 eggs
• 2/3 cup sugar

Instructions:

Combine the ingredients and beat well. Pour into the crust and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 20 minutes, then pour on the topping.

Topping

Ingredients:

• 1 (12oz) carton sour cream
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla, run or almond extract

Instructions:

Mix all the ingredients together, beating well and pour on to the cooled cake. Sprinkle with the reserved crumbs from the crust and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool then refrigerate.
