Fry the bacon until it is half-cooked and drain off most of the drippings. Add the onions to the grease and cook, stirring often, until they turn golden in color. Stir in the tomatoes, salt and peppers. Put the wieners on top fo the mixture and cover, letting simmer for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally. If the sauce isn't thick enough, you can boil it hard, uncovered, for 5 minutes to thicken it up.
