Scald milk and stir in soup mix, butter and sugar. Cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast in warm water and stir. Add lukewarm milk mixture to water, then add egg and 2 cups flour. Beat until smooth and then add the remaining flour to make a stiff batter. Cover tightly and chill for 2 hours. Cut dough in half and press each half into 1 1/2 quart casserole dishes. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
