Fabulous Fudge

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
• 2/3 cup undiluted evaporated milk
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups (4oz) miniature marshmallows
• 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

Instructions:

Butter an 8-inch square pan and set aside. In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from the heat and stir in the marshmallows, chocolate morsels, vanilla and nuts. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until the marshmallows melt and blend in. Pour the mixture into the pan and let cool, then cut into squares.
