Fudge Sauce

Ingredients:

• 1 cup cocoa
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1/2 cup light corn syrup
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 teaspoons vanilla, sherry or brandy

Instructions:

In a double boiler, mix the cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add the corn syrup and milk, cooking for 15 minutes over hot water, stirring until thickened. Add the butter, then cool. Add the vanilla.
