Honeycomb Pudding

Preheat the oven to 350°. Butter a 2-quart baking dish. Mix together the sugar, flour and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Melt the butter in the lukewarm milk then mix with the molasses into the dry mixture. Beat thoroughly, then stir in the 4 well beaten eggs. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake until firm, roughly 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
