Hot German Potato Salad

In medium skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove, drain on paper towl and cumble. Reserve 1/3 cup of bacon drippings for later use. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, celery, onion, bacon, salt, pepper, vinegar, drippings, parsley and sugar. Toss until well mixed. Place in a 2-quart baking dish and cover tightly. Bake in 350° oven for 45-50 minutes.

This recipe can be doubled easily and reheats well. Perfect for large families!
