Mix the egg, shortening, margarine and sugar. Combine the crumbs and oats together. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together and then blend with the oats mixture. Stir this into the shortening mixture alternating with the milk until just blended, taking care not to overmiix. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3rds full and bake at 400° for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
