Orange Basil Roast Chicken

Preheat the oven to 350° In a large oven bag, 14x20-inch in size, shake the interior with flour. Loosen the skin of the chicken over the breast area with a knife, then place 4 orange slices and the basil leaves underneath the skin. Divide the onion slices and the remaining orange slices between the cavity of the chicken and the bottom of the oven bag. Tuck the wings under the chicken and tie the legs together. Brush the chicken with vegetable oil and sprinkle with pepper. Place the chicken in the oven bag on top of the onion and orange slices. Seal the bag, then cut six 1/2-inch slits in the top of the bag. Bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
