Orange Charlotte

Ingredients:

• 1 tablespoon gelatin
• 1 cup sugar
• 2/3 cup water
• 3 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 cup orange juice with pulp
• 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
• 1/2 pint cream, whipped
• sections of orange

Instructions:

In a small saucepan, mix the gelatin, sugar and water. Cook and stir over the low heat until the gelatin dissolves. Cool, then add the lemon juice and orange juice. Chill until the mixture thickens, then beat until frothy. Fold in the egg whites and whipped cream. Line a mold with sections of orange, then pour in the mixture.
