Soften the yeast in the warm water, then stir in 1/4 cup of sugar, salt, eggs, sour cream and 6 tablespoons of melted butter. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough and let rise until doubled. Roll out the dough in a rectangle and spread the remaining melted butter on top. Combine the remaining 3/4 cup of sugar with the orange zest and sprinkle over the butter. Roll up the dough and slice into rolls, then place on the baking sheet. Let rise until doubled again, about 1 hour, then bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 35 minutes.
