Mix all the dry ingredients together and then stir in the rest of the ingredients except for the peaches and powdered sugar. Stir just until mixture is smooth in texture. Fold in the peaches and then drop from a teaspoon into deep hot fat and fry at 350° for approx. 2 minutes or until crisp and brown. Drain on paper towels and then roll in powdered sugar, serving immediately.
