Cream the butter, vanilla and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg to the creamed mixture and beat well. Stir in the raisins and pineapple. Sift together the dry ingredients and add gradually to the creamed mixture, stirring until well blended. Drop the batter by the teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in the oven at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes.
