Mix 2 tablespoons of butter and the flour together. Slowly add the heated milk and stir until smooth, then add the pimientoes, mushrooms, worcestershire sauce and american cheese. Cook until thick and smooth, then add the peas. Pour the entire mix into a buttered casserole dish. Melt 1 teaspoon of butter and combine with the bread crumbs, then spread over the top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
