Snow Balls

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• powdered sugar
• crushed and sweetened fruit

Instructions:

Cream the butter and sugar together, then add the egg whites and milk. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir the sifted mixture into the the creamed mixture. Butter custard cups and fill with the mixture, then steam for 20 minutes. Remove from the cups and roll in powdered sugar and serve with fruit.
