Stuffed Mushrooms

Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Chop the stems finely. Melt the butter, then add the onions, garlic and chopped stems. Cook and stir for 10 minutes. Stir in the flour with a little cream to moisten, parsley, a dash of nutmeg, salt and pepper. Cool slightly. Meanwhile, butter the mushrooms and fill heaping full. Cover with the buttered bread crumbs and bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Serve hot with toothpicks.
