Mix together the milk and yeast and let stand for 5 minutes. Add the 1/2 a cup of flour then add to the mixer. Beat the mixing well, cover and let rise. Add the additional 2 cups of flour, beat and let rise again. Add the additional ingredients and mix thoroughly. Add enough flour to knead the dough well. Let rise until double in size. Shape into a braid or ring and let rise. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°
