Combine all the ingredients except the vegetable oil and hens in a food processor. Blend until smooth. With the machine still running, gradually add the oil until the mixture turns thick. Rub the mixture into the hens and marinate at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 400°. Place the hens in a shallow roasting pan and brush with marinade. Roast the hens for approximately 45 minutes, basting occasionally with the marinade and pan drippings. Let the hens sit, tented with aluminum foil for 10 to 15 minutes. Spoon the marinade over each hen half.
This marinade will accommodate up to 6 cornish game hens.
